Project Synopsis

Pocket Realities are a collection of interactive digital experiences exploring the intersections between art and technology. Virtual scenarios and graphical textures are created to be manipulated by the audience, using video game interactivity, physical sensors, reactive algorithms, and realtime live performance. Displayed on a myriad of audiovisual platforms, ranging from smartphones to virtual reality, web browsers to LED screens, black-and-white CRTs to 4K OLED TVs. An exercise of imagination and practice, unbound by physics or common wisdom, creating alternative surreal versions of reality. At the same time, our own reality is reflected back, enticing a dialogue between present and future, preconceptions and utopia. An ongoing experiment to discover the aesthetics of our time.
